I began network marketing back in 1998 and have had much success as well as much failure in this industry.

These days it is pretty rare for me to come across and opportunity that I get excited about.  I have my own evaluation process that I use to evaluate a network marketing opportunity and frankly, just about all of them “fail”.

Why Should You Take The Time To Review This Site?

Firstly, I totally and completely understand that it can be a stressful process…trying to single out the one opportunity that is just right… the one thing that you can really sink your teeth into and that will be a good fit for you.

After all, there is a lot of hype and false information out there on the internet and it can be very difficult to know who you can trust.

It can be hard to tell what is real and what is not.  You want to give people the benefit of the doubt but there is so much information out there that you can literally spend months just searching and researching and then start all over again at the beginning and literally get nowhere.  Can you say “information overload”?

I want you to have all the facts you need about MPB Today so you can make an informed decision, not a guess.

I have created this site in an attempt to provide a single resource to answer all your MPB Today questions.  This will not simply be a pitch for MPB Today, or page after page of my telling you how “great” it is.  I have found that “hype” and “sizzle” will only get one so far when it comes to network marketing.  It may work well for selling products but network marketing is about relationships and team-building, especially in MPB Today, as you will see.

And while I do believe that after you have looked at all the facts and observed the obvious about MPB Today that you will agree that I do that it is a tremendous opportunity.  But that is not to say that it is for you.  You may be totally unsuited for this type of business.

Most Important Reason You Need To Make The Time To Review This Site:

Contrary to what you may think at this moment the most important reason for you to review this entire site has very little to do with the actual MPB Today opportunity, but really has MUCH MORE to do with How Are You Going To Successfully Build This Business? and once you join… Then What Do You Do?

You see?

Take a mental look at this for a moment.  Understand that MPB Today, as a business opportunity is still MPB Today whether you join with me as your sponsor, or with Joe Schmoe as your sponsor or with any other person in the world as your sponsor.

So yes, you are going to need to know how MPB Today works but that is going to work standardly, in the same manner, no matter who you join, no matter which team you select.

But I’ve got to tell you a secret as a guy who has been doing this for over 13 years…

The 2nd most important decision will ever make about your business, in this industry, is in deciding which team and which sponsor you select.

(The 1st most important decision is simply your decision to get to work… in case you were wondering)

This is not “hype”.

This is not a “sales pitch”.

I’m not telling you that because it makes me feel important.

I’m telling you this because it’s true.

If I had $100.00 for every person who told me over the years, “I’m just not really getting any help from my up-line as to what to do”, I’d probably be retired right now instead of typing this post for you.

Certainly you are going to want to bring yourself up to speed as to the working of MPB Today.  But I want you to put more attention on the team resources, training, help, and various other advantages that you might have by joining via this site.  You do not want to be in a position 3 months from now where you are wishing you would have taken a bit more time to look at what sort of help and support and resources may be available to you, TO HELP YOU BUILD YOUR BUSINESS.

You see, the business itself is valid and stable and pays on time and all of that.  You can get all that data from anywhere.  But you are going to find it much harder to find the right type of resources, and tools and such, including tools and resources that you can offer to your own downline… SO THAT YOUR DOWNLINE HAS A REASON TO JOIN YOU.  Did you get that last point?  Why would they join you?

These are the types of things that you will run into down the line that you might not think of right up front as you are first looking into this opportunity.  This is why I am pointing this out to you.

There is no point in my trying to “hype” you or “sell” you or to try and paint a prettier picture than what is actual with this business, because if you join the group to play this game, then you are going to be expected to play the game, and build your business, and to produce so that you (and I) can get paid, right?  And that is what you want right?

So this is something you want to be paying attention to as you review this site and the material on it.  In light of these truths I would encourage you to take all the time you need to do so.  I would also recommend that you spend some time on AlanCosens.com and get to know me a bit, and get familiar with what I may be able to offer you in the way of help.

I decided long ago that NO ONE was going to out-work me.  And NO ONE was going to provide more value and help to their down-line than I do.  And factually this is what I do all day long.

And at this point, having just the limited communication line with you — namely this page that you are reading — that is the most help I can offer you is the recommendation that I have just made.

Don’t worry.  You will get all the data you need about the workings of MPB Today that you will need in order to understand it.  I just want you to think in terms of how you are going to help your down-line and how you are going to provide resources and help to them, so that they will be chomping at the bit to work with you.  It is a less selfish approach.  The help will be there for you.  That help is mainly composed of getting you into a position where you can help your people, you see?  Start thinking about how you can help others and you will find that your business just begins to roll along. Think about this question for a second…

“Would you spend $200 one time out-of-pocket to TOTALLY ELIMINATE your grocery bill?”

What sort of response do you think you might get to that question?

Do you think that question would at least get someone to take a look?

I’m telling you factually that I get inundated all day long with pitches for new opportunities.  All day.  Hundreds of emails per day.  My contact informati0n is all over the internet and I am disregarding sales pitches all day long, but when I saw this question I had to look at it just out of the sheer mystery of “how the hell could a one-time purchase eliminate my grocery bill?”  It is factually one of the best taglines I have ever seen in the network marketing industry.

Qualification point number 1:  Are you able to open your mouth and ask someone this question?  If so, this may be something that is suited to you.

Why MPB Today Over So Many Other Opportunities?

Look, my situation is most likely very different from yours.  I have been a network marketer for a very long time.  I am extremely familiar with this industry and the trends which occur and how to build teams of people and so forth.  I am a full-time internet network marketer.  I realize that this is most likely not the case for you.  I also realize that you probably do not have the wide basis for comparison that I do.

I suspect that your situation is along the lines of dragging yourself out of bed each morning, aching, and groaning, and trying to wake yourself up as you run all the hot water out in the shower, then slogging down your coffee and rushing out the door to fight traffic only to arrive to a work environment that you aren’t exactly crazy about and to answer to a boss who tells you what to do all day.  And if you are bright enough to figure out that that situation will only result in THAT situation, and that someone at that company is making all the big money — AND IT AIN’T YOU– well,  maybe that is why you have started your search.

Or worse yet you get laid off from a job that you didn’t like because of the current economy and now you are just home, broke, surfing the net hoping to find anything that will produce income because the savings is running out and you have kids to feed.  And just maybe you are beginning to realize that the working a job, and being employed is never, ever going to set you free.

You know, I had a young girl email me recently and ask, “Alan, how do you go about changing your mindset from having a J.O.B. mentality to having an entrepreneur’s mindset?”.  My though upon reading this was “Hmm.  Go to work and bust my ass all day long so that some other people can get rich from my work, and I have to report where they tell me and do what they tell me and I get maybe 2 weeks every year where I can actually do what I want with my life, and in return all I get is just a little bit of money every couple weeks…”.  Sounds like total insanity to me!

So, for you MPB Today could be your first shot out of a situation like that and maybe a first step toward freedom (especially with the training and resources I provide to my team).

But for me I have already been in this industry a long time and it is just another income stream.  I guess what I’m getting at here is that my choosing MPB Today may not necessarily have any relationship to the reason why you might choose to get involved with MPB Today… if that in fact is what you want to do.  There is a lot to be said however with joining with the right team and right sponsor and I can promise you that joining with someone who knows what they are doing can save you literally years of struggle and heart-ache.

But there are few points you might want to take into consideration. These do happen to be the same points which attracted me to this company.

• MPB Today has a totally universal product and literally every single adult person is a prospect. Why?  Because every person you know buys groceries and every person you know would truly like to eliminate their grocery expenses.  Simple.
• MPB Today has a very easy compensation plan to understand.  And if you don’t think this is a big deal then you have never been involved in network marketing.  Some of the pay plans out there are so damn complicated that you can spend literally hours… I’m not joking… hours trying to explain it to someone so that they get it and THEY STILL DON’T GET IT!
• The paychecks go out weekly.  This is a very different thing.  Generally, you would be waiting over a month for all the necessary accounting to be done and to have the checks cut and sent.  With MPB Today one can start getting paid right away, factually more quickly than what they typically would even if they took a regular job.
• The production targets are small in comparison to just about all other opportunities in this industry.  Literally, it’s just a “refer two people” program.

Why I First Looked At MPB Today:

The reason I initially looked at MPB Today was because someone in one of my other opportunities had added in MPB as another income stream and ended up doing very well right off the bat.  He told me he:

“cycled about 30 times in his first 3 weeks  with MPB Today”,

(I’ll explain what that means in a bit), and that he…

“got $500 for each cycle”.

So I quickly did the math and my interest peaked.

I am always looking for additional streams of income, but I am very particular about what I put my time into.

There are certain things I look for in an opportunity, and what I’m looking for isn’t necessarily easy to find.

Anyway, my first question to him was “what did you do to make that happen?”.  His answer pleased me because what he did to achieve that $15K in 3 weeks was exactly the same thing I had been doing to market my other opportunity, which I had put about 100 people into personally in the previous 4 months or so.

That was pretty much all I needed to hear and I had decided to get involved at that point.  Besides, it was only $200 to start and for that I would get $200 worth of groceries, so it’s not like I was “out” anything on it.

But I didn’t know anything about the product, how the compensation plan worked, etc.

I trust my buddy because of our history in two other opportunities we are involved with, and with which we have both had success, so that was good enough for me.

Funny how established trust and a good relationship with a sponsor is about all it takes is it? (hint, hint.)

Over the next day or so I took a bit of time to go through the material and get up to speed with exactly what this MPB Today program is.

I gotta tell ya.  I was pleasantly surprised.

Something I Look For In An Opportunity:

Let me explain something to you about this business, and this is something that not too many people talk about and which can be the source of a big mistake made by people such as yourself…

You have to think NOT in terms of what YOU can accomplish with it.  You have to think in terms of what those who are coming in under you can accomplish with it.

That is for any opportunity.  If it’s too complex and too hard it will be a struggle because the lesser experienced folks won’t be able to do it as well.  In such a case you lose the entire benefit and reason for doing network marketing… which is the fact that as network marketers we earn residual commissions from the efforts of the team below us, along with our own effort.

So, one of the things I look at now, after having played this game for over 13 years, is I like things that are relatively easy, that don’t take a tremendous amount of training for the newer people.  In other words, I like to see programs that new people can actually do.

There are a lot of opportunities out there that I can do, and I can recruit like crazy and make money, but in nearly 13 years in this industry I have seen a lot and for me, just as a personal preference, I like to see my down-line make money as well!

I absolutely hate it when my down-line isn’t succeeding.  There is only one thing in this business I hate more than seeing my down-line not making profit, and that is seeing someone in my down-line quit, especially when they haven’t done a damn thing with their business as far as putting work into it. Since 1998 this has been my biggest irritation with this industry, which is why I now specifically look for things that are relatively easy to do.

Is MPB Today For Right For You?

The MPB Today program is without question a program that even inexperienced marketers can do with success.    There are many opportunities out there, some with insanely lucrative pay plans, but the skill level required is just too much for most people.

MPB Today is truly something that the average person can do, provided they have made the decision to build a business for themselves.  And when you factor into this the fact that I provide comprehensive marketing training and resources for my people this becomes really nothing more than a question of following steps.

On thing you have to keep in mind is that the product for MPB Today is groceries.  MPB is the network marketing arm for Southeastern Delivery, a prominent home grocer-delivery service.

Why do you need to keep this in mind?

Well, just think about some of the products out there in the world of network marketing.

How about having to stock your garage with juices, and vitamins, and soap and shampoo, various cleaners, etc.?  How about if these are things you don’t even use?  Yeah, I know you “should use the products”.  They all say that but frankly most of the time the only reason the distributors are using the products is because they are getting their auto-ship and if you don’t agree with that you either don’t know anything about his industry or you are in hopeless denial.

Now, get this… you are going to be buying groceries regardless of whether you join MPB Today.  Am I right?   So how about if, instead of having a garage full of crap that you would never use otherwise you actually get your groceries with your start up cost?

Here are some things you can ask yourself:

• Is the product something that people use?
• Is it simple enough for the average person to understand?
• What am I required to produce/attain?
• Do I have the ability to communicate to others?
• Do I have a “drive” or “motivation” to get ahead?
• Do I desire to help others and to see them get ahead?
  
• See, you have to think like your prospects and your down-line team.

If your answer to all of these was “yes” then there is a good chance that you can do well.  If you answer to all of these is “no”, then it’s probably not for you.

But here is how it pans out…

Someone joins for $200 (plus just $10/yr for website maintenance/admin) they aren’t exactly throwing money into an abyss.  The $200 does get them $200 worth of groceries, you see?  So you have to look at this in terms of –what is the real cost for people?  Frankly, since there is no monthly auto-ship and it’s solely a one-time $200 grocery purchase, this then becomes one of the lowest barriers on the planet for starting a business.

Now, the grocery delivery market is truly growing at an incredible rate and arguments can be made and brainstorming can be done about all the people you know who might like to have their groceries delivered but to be perfectly straight up with you I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT PEOPLE HAVE THEIR GROCERIES DELIVERED.

“Huh?” you say?

Yes, that’s right.

First of all, you can join and pay your $200 and order your groceries and have them delivered.  No issue with that at all, okay?  But, if you just hold off for a little bit, just until you have referred a couple people to the program, you can redeem your $200 for a Walmart/Sam’s Club gift card, and then you can stroll on down to “Wally-World” and use it to purchase whatever you want.  Totally up to the consumer you see?

So, what does this have to do with you succeeding in MPB Today?

Well, just look at the value attained with the membership/start up cost.

This is a selling point for you.  Absolute worst-case is they get $200 worth of groceries, which they were going to buy anyway, you see?

I almost hate to say anything is “easy”, but in 13 years in this industry this may be the easiest product sale that I have seen… just factually speaking.  The product is groceries.  Like I said, “Everyone is a prospect”.

So if you can muster the courage to ask people this question:

“Would you spend $200 one time out-of-pocket to TOTALLY ELIMINATE your grocery bill?”

and you understand the logic of what I have just explained about, then you should be able to determine clearly for yourself whether you could succeed with this program.

Only you can decide that.  All I can do is point out the obvious.

And you know every once in a while someone will ask me something like:

Isn’t the economy just too terrible right now to be starting a business?

No.  Absolutely not.  In fact this industry — the network marketing industry– grows in the opposite direction to the rest of the economy.  When jobs are scarce and big corporations are struggling and laying people off and times are tight that is when people begin looking for ways to make money and to start their own home businesses.  So if you take the time to research the statistics yourself you will see that as the recent recession has gradually put a stranglehold on big business, the network marketing industry has completely exploded to level of membership and profit that have never been seen in the entire history of network marketing.  So, no.  This economy is perfect for this business, not to mention the fact that you are offering folks the way to eliminate their grocery bill.
